“The freight rail network is a crucial part of our region’s transportation system—one that keeps Virginia’s ports connected to manufacturers and businesses across the country. The private dollars that railroads spend to enhance efficiency and safety on their network in turn enhance efficiency across all modes, including for our ports.”
