Why Citizen Engagement Matters
Advocacy CornerWhile constituents might view Capitol Hill through a prism of skepticism, research shows that citizen voices really do matter to policymakers. They want to hear from their constituents—want to understand the issues that are impacting folks back home.
This reality is the foundation that GoRail’s advocacy model is built on. Through education, recruitment and mobilization, we work to convey the local freight rail story, through citizen voices, to the lawmakers on Capitol Hill making important rail policy decisions.Policy Issues
